Now available from Audon Electronics, the Model 626 combines five functions into a half-size PCI card.

Now available from Audon Electronics, the Model 626 combines five functions into a half-size PCI card.

It has six versatile bidirectional 24bit counter/timers, four 14bit D/A outputs with a 20kHz update rate, sixteen 14bit differential A/D inputs operating at a 50kHz sample rate, and 48 bidirectional digital signals compatible with solid-state relay boards (16 of these have edge detection and can generate interrupts).

All six counters can be used with quadrature encoders.

The Model 626 also incorporates a watchdog timer that may be used to reset the PCI bus.

In the event of a power failure the 626 has a battery backup for the counter channels.

The 626 is supplied with a 32-bit DLL for Windows 95/98 and NT, which allows the use of multiple 626 boards along with QNX support.

Optional ActiveX controls are also available.

The 626 is also compatible with motion control and soft logic software from MDSI.

The 626 is ideal for use with process control systems or can be used in hard real-time motion control and CNC applications.
