As powerful as a desktop computer, these portables can be fitted with the latest processors, hard disks and memory to form a truly mobile workstation.

The entry level MPC-6012 is a 12.1in LCD size portable with a fireproofed sturdy ABS plastic case with build in aluminium chassis.

It can accommodate seven expansion slots (four full length) and one 5.25 and three 3.5in horizontally mounted drive days.

It is ideal for low-cost less-demanding applications.

The mid-range MPC-7014 and 7015 are 14 and 15in LCD portables, respectively.

Again, with seven ISA/PCI expansion slots and a sturdy ABS casing/aluminium chassis construction.

In addition, these portables have an LCD extender arm so that the display may be moved up and down, backwards and forwards for maximum viewing comfort.

Ideal for multimedia applications, these portables come with built-in audio amplifier and stereo 3W speakers.

There is also a battery power option to allow usage for up to half an hour without mains power.

The top of the range is the Demand 9002, a reliable and rugged solution when you need computing power in places where other systems cannot go.

The Demand 9002 has been carefully designed and constructed to meet an extensive set of electrical and mechanical specifications that lets it perform in virtually any kind of environment.

It comprises three major components: the main console with a seven-slot expansion capability, a 12.1in detachable LCD unit which may be positioned for optimum viewing and a detachable keyboard unit which serves as front protection when the system is being transported.

The external housing is made of state-of-the-art extruded aluminium with a hard anodised finish to assure both a high-tech design and a very rugged structure.
