Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 19, 2009

The Labjack U6 USB data acquisition (DAQ) and control unit from Audon Electronics is the newest member of the company's Labjack range.

Featuring 14 analogue inputs with 16-18-bit resolution and a programmable gain amplifier, the U6 is ideal for measuring real-world signals.

The U6 has built-in cold junction compensation for thermocouples, and has two fixed current sources, which are useful for measuring resistance and for use with resistance thermometers.

The U6 is offered with 20 digital I/O, up to four counter/timers, two analogue outputs, wide software support and a free copy of DAQFactoy Express.
