Prototype fasteners come at express
speed
The Fastener Express service is based on the thinking behind rapid prototyping, making it possible to reduce traditional development and production times for fasteners by up to 75%.
Time has become the most critical factor that drives success Product and production-oriented enterprises are developing new capacities or are recasting their business methods so as to enable them to get to market with innovative solutions faster than the competition

The basic requirement is to reduce development costs and cut development times.
This is where rapid prototyping makes a considerable contribution.
It can be used to manufacture work pieces straight from CAD data.
In the past, it was necessary to schedule delivery lead times of up to 30 weeks, particularly for the development and production of functional samples or special short-run solutions.
The Arnold Fastener Express has been developed to offer a fast and straightforward solution.
This is a service based on the thinking behind rapid prototyping, making it possible to reduce traditional development and production times for fasteners by up to 75%.
Using this method, the specialists at Arnold can produce and supply complex customised fasteners in under three weeks.
Whereas in the past a large proportion of these components principally served as view models or prototypes, the Arnold Fastener Express now goes one step further.
By producing function types with properties very close to series production, but in small runs, Arnold is taking account of the growing need for functional prototyping.
And Arnold's own modern tool stock means that, with the Arnold Fastener Express, it is also able to manufacture short runs quickly, effectively and above all economically.
Arnold Fastener Express saves time and money: by minimising administration work; by feeding the incoming order straight to technical assessment; by simultaneously translating the three-dimensional CAD data into the product; and by using the machining process to eliminate the need to procure and design tools.
Arnold Fastener Express enables the production of highly complex fasteners in small runs, with the same characteristics and functions as bulk manufactured cold formed parts - in a quarter of the time, and with optimised development and production costs.
