Applied Weighing has a pioneering new range of weight indicators it claims are set to change the future of the process control industry.
The IQ range is the result of years of research into the process control market to provide an ingenious, totally flexible and cost effective weighing solution for a range of industries.
The flagship of the range is the 920i; a fully programmable weighing controller that combines intelligence, speed and flexibility to accurately process data faster than any other system on the market.
Using an unique analogue-to-digital conversion algorithm, the 920i receives 960 updates per second, making it over three times faster than other programmables and ensures faster and more accurate processing in batching, filling and multi-scale operations.
The 920i also incorporates user-friendly features such as a large LCD graphical display with selectable character sizes, real time bar graphs illustrating filling and batching processes and the ability to display (and connect up to) an astounding 28 separate weighing systems.
Customers benefit from the customised database that stores and analyses critical production information.
Ten user-defined and 14 fixed functions provide convenient access to frequently used functions.
To withstand tough conditions the 920i comes in a stainless steel enclosure, ingress protected to IP66, for maximum protection and longevity, and features heavy-duty tactile keys - tested to over five million actuations.
Desk, wall and panel mount versions are available.
The advanced technology of the 920i allows it to communicate with protocols such as DeviceNet, Profibus, and Remote I/O.
The system is also incredibly easy to integrate into a new or existing industrial automation system.
