The latest ABCIRH industrial circular connectors made by AB and available from Aerco, are halogen-free and are based on products covered by the American Mil-C-5015 and the German VG95234 specification.

They are interchangeable with all corresponding types and feature contact arrangements from Mil-STD-1651.

Protection against the ingress of water and dust is provided by a dynamic steel ring fitted under the coupling nut and an individual wire seal grommet at the rear of the connector.

A special washer assembly beneath the coupling nut and the availability of a comprehensive range of backshells and accessories ensure excellent continuity and shielding characteristics between mated connectors for high levels of EMI and RFI protection.

Connector shells can be supplied with cadmium-free plating finish.

To enhance service life and for applications where severe vibration or repeated mating is required, ABCIRH connectors feature stainless steel anti-wear pins at the critical point of the receptacle connector coupling ramps.

These connectors are used extensively throughout the military, mass transportation, entertainment and general industrial markets.
