Designed specifically for use in hazardous applications the GXS series limit switches are fully potted and have sealing protection to IP66/67 as per IEC/EN 60529

A range of explosion proof limit switches is now available from Aerco, the Horsham based electromechanical component specialist Designed specifically for use in hazardous applications the enclosures of the GXS series are fully potted and have sealing protection to IP66/67 as per IEC/EN 60529

The entire series complies with the ATEX directive.

Using a rugged zinc die-cast housing and built with a snap action, double insulated switch element, the GXS series has a mechanical life of up to two million operations.

The operating temperature range is -20C to +75C at 3A and -20C to +60C at 4A.

All switches in the range conform to EN50014, EN50018 are CE marked and EN50047 mounted compatible.

Models are available with top pin plunger, top roller and side rotary actuator and all are supplied with five metres of pre-wired cable.
