Aerco has introduced the 726 series from Wago, a new range of matrix terminal blocks that have been specially adapted for trackside applications in the railroad industry

Aerco, the Horsham based electromechanical component distributor, has introduced a new range of matrix terminal blocks that have been specially adapted for trackside applications in the railroad industry.

The 726 series from Wago is available in versions up to 32 pole and 32 contacts.

Terminal dimensions are 44 x 132 x 36.5mm and the terminals will accept wire sizes between 0.08 - 1.5mm2.

Other sizes are available on request.

Simple to configure, the conductors are terminated by a simple push-in method and do not use time consuming screw terminators.

They accept solid, stranded, flexible crimped or ferruled wires.

Each module is delivered pre-marked and groups of modules can be identified using special marker tiles supplied.

The 726 series is ideally suited for use in communications, alarms, signalling and building management system applications where there is a need to terminate large numbers of wires in a small area.
