Aerco is showing an extensive range of components ideally suited to the rail industry on Stand 847 in Hall 1 at Railtex Products include connectors, circuit breakers, relays, open frame and tubular solenoids, new proximity sensors that set new standards in sensitivity and the world's first watertight Ethernet connector

Also on show will be LED panel indicators, electronic circuit protection devices and a range of EMC backshells.

Four different types of circuit breakers from E-T-A that are suitable for many applications including rolling stock, track-side equipment and signalling will be shown as will Honeywell super sealed safety switches.

These switches are suitable for use in a wide variety of conditions and environments, many of which meet European and USA military standards and specifications.

Now available in the UK from Aerco, is a new industrial RJ-45 connection system that for the first time enables Ethernet and other data communication protocols to be used for industrial field devices.

The RJ-LnxxT, industry's first IP67 sealed RJ-45 connector, extends Ethernet from boardroom to the factory floor.

While Ethernet offers strong benefits in a manufacturing environment it is rarely used at this level because, until now, the connectors were not designed to withstand harsh environments.

Aerco is now a main distributor for Contrinex inductive and photoelectric proximity sensors.

These use an innovative new sensing system that eradicates fundamental weaknesses of contemporary products.

The Series 700 inductive proximity sensors use new, patented technology known as Condet that provides characteristics that are far superior to those of contemporary inductive proximity switches.

The main advantages are a sensing distance that is three times that of conventional products plus it has a single piece, stainless-steel housing that is extremely rugged and completely impervious to all types of contamination.

Featured on the stand will be a range of halogen free circular connectors from AB Connectors that comply with the stringent fire hazard standards required by the railroad industry.

Also on display will be a range of high quality EMC backshells from Polamco and KEC designed for all types of connectors that give the highest possible levels of protection.

On show will be an extensive range of tubular and open frame solenoids and transient protected mains filters designed to meet the demands of modern, sensitive, electrical equipment.

A range of filter D-type connectors that use multilayer PCB technology to provide high levels of protection at competitive costs will also be shown.

Completing the stand are two complementary ranges of LED panel indicators that provide a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications and are ideal for use in harsh environments and demanding light conditions.
