Aerco can now offer a three- to five-day delivery service on MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors.

Aerco can now offer a three- to five-day delivery service on MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors since being appointed by VEAM/TEC, part of Northrop Grumman, as an assembling distributor for this range of connectors The Defence Logistics Agency has approved Aerco as a Category C distributor (assembly distributor) for MIL-DTL-38999 Series 111 connectors and the QPL is being updated accordingly

These robust high-performance connectors are suitable for the most demanding physical and electrical environments, and are one of a family of internationally accepted standard circular connectors for the defence and aviation industry.

The scope of the Aerco ISO 9002 accreditation will be extended to cover MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors.

Aerco will be offering this service on both olive drab cadmium and electroless nickel plated shells in a comprehensive range of planforms and will support this with an extensive choice of environmentally sealed accessories.

Aerco has completed a major expansion of its assembly facility in Horsham and has also made a significant investment in stockholding of piece parts.

Rob Laughton, Aerco Managing Director, said: "This is a major development for Aerco and is an extension of our capability to assemble other connectors.

A typical delivery for D38999 connectors has been seven or eight weeks.

Our target is a maximum of five days and we will aim at three if requested.

I am sure that this will be of great benefit to our customers".
