Inspection scope can see into inaccessible places

An Aerco product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 28, 2008

Aerco is offering CML's Provision Endoscope PV2 inspection scope.

Provison is suitable for peering between car door panels and cavity walls, searching under floorboards and around corners and inspecting deep inside engines and fuel tanks.

Provision is also used for searching for drugs and other forms of contraband and for covert military operations.

The flexible 'non-obedient' cable is based on fibre optic technology and fits easily into 6mm diameter holes.

The additional 'obedient' sleeve, which fits into 12mm diameter holes, ensures the shaft stays in position.

Optional magnets and mirrors are available to aid investigation and retrieval and the cables and the sealed lens are water resistant for underwater operation.

The high-resolution lens provides a clear image of objects as close as 6mm.

A powerful lamp that illuminates dark crevices is operated by a push-button fitted to the comfortable handle, allowing one-handed operation.

A durable carrying case is included.
