AEI has supplied more than 140km of low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) fire retardant cables made to BS6883 and fire resistant cables complying with BS7917.
The cabling, manufactured at AEI's Birtley plant in County Durham, is also water resistant to cope with the environmental conditions of the project.
Since the modules for the platform were manufactured in different parts of Europe, it was important that the delivery dates were met to keep each module on course for consecutive delivery to site.
AEI has previously supplied cables to the redeveloped Piper Alfa platform and to the BP Claire platform in 2004.
Nick Searle, Managing Director of AEI Cables, said: "We have an excellent track record in this sector and can provide bespoke cabling as well as off-the-shelf products to meet the needs of some of the world's most difficult working environments".

Positioned 96km off the cost of Aberdeen in the central North Sea at a water depth of about 100m, Buzzard was discovered in May 2001, and is expected to deliver its first oil production in late 2006.
The field has been developed using a three bridge-linked platform system which supports the wellhead facilities, product facilities and living quarters and utilities.
Buzzard's total recoverable reserves are estimated at more than 400 million barrels of oil and the platform is expected to begin producing light oil at a rate of 190,000 barrels per day by 2007.
When completed, Buzzard is expected to be a hub for a number of existing and potential discoveries in the area.
