The AMHE range of AC induction motors conforms with the highest European efficiency class - eff1 - from 1.1 to 90kW in two- and four-pole versions.

The AMHE range of AC induction motors conforms with the highest European efficiency class - eff1 - from 1.1 to 90kW in two- and four-pole versions, and is eligible for enhanced capital allowances under the DEFRA scheme to counter the Climate Change Levy.

AEG Lafert now stocks the complete AMHE range in the UK to service a growing demand from its customers.

In the USA the Department of Energy has legislated the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) which declares illegal the import of motors that do not meet the efficiency levels stipulated.

The new ranges of AMH and HE ranges meet the efficiency levels set down in the act and are available from 1.5 to 200hp in IEC frame sizes 90-315 in both two- and four-pole versions.

In addition to EPAct requirements this range of motors are a recognised component verified by Underwriters Laboratories and carry the UL approved logo.
