The AM range of AC induction motors now covers three-phase frames from IEC80-200 and 0.55-30kW and single phase from IEC80-100 and 0.55-2.2kW.

The AM range of AC induction motors from AEG with its flexible multimount design has been extended so it now covers three-phase frames from IEC80-200 and 0.55-30kW and single phase from IEC80-100 and 0.55-2.2kW.

In this range the feet can be removed from the aluminium body of the motor and attached in alternative positions allowing the user the flexibility to choose the position of the terminal box.

Furthermore the terminal box, with its square design, can be rotated in 90-egree steps allowing a cable entry choice from four directions.

Stability and mechanical integrity are maintained by the unique AEG design of locating and fitting of the feet which does not depend on threaded holes in the body of the motor but compression bolts behind specially designed slots.

This ensures simple reliable and quick repositioning.

One motor now fulfils the requirement for all terminal box positions, and this gives flexibility for the user and the OEM while improving stock availability from the AEG motor partner network.
