Crook and Bannister boost UK management

AEG Electric Motors has appointed Mike Crook as Chairman and Brian Bannister as UK Sales Manager as part of a re-organisation process to ensure effective management of its growing UK operation.

AEG Electric Motors has appointed Mike Crook as Chairman and Brian Bannister as UK Sales Manager as part of a re-organisation process to ensure effective management of its growing UK operation.

Mike Crook has over 40 years experience in the electric motor industry, including 13 years with ABB Motors.

Before ABB, Crook worked for Newman Electric Motors, Leroy Somer, Brook Crompton and GEC.

He is a joint founder of the UK AEG Electric Motor business and actually took the first order before the business was set up.

Brian Bannister has over 22 years experience with electric motor companies.

Immediately prior to joining AEG, Bannister spent 8 years with ABB, his last position being UK Sales Manager.

His career started with an electromechanical apprenticeship at a motor repair company.

His main area of involvement has been with specialist motor developments.
