New range of aluminium induction motors introduced
Available in frame sizes 63-180 and powers 0.12-30kW, the new AEG Electric Motors aluminium induction motor range has improved efficiencies and now complies with the CEMEP Eff 1 category
This is because the company manufactures both the motor and brake which permits optimisation of component interface.
The low-centre motors offer high power to frame size: 7.5kW from an 80 frame size machine as opposed to a typical 132 frame unit requirement.
They can be supplied with PUWER 98 and ACoP compliant fail-safe braking, with or without blade discs, plus numerous other options regarding terminal boxes, fan covers etc.
In addition, exhibits will include new dust ignition proof motors, plus single- and three-phase machines from across the company's motor ranges which are available in custom designs to UL/CSA standards.
Motors are available in power ratings from 0.009 to 200kW in frame sizes from 56 to 315 with over 20,000 shaft and flange configuration options.
