AEG Lafert Group has appointed Abder Sadouk as product manager for heavy duty motors.
AEG Lafert Group has appointed Abder Sadouk as product manager for heavy duty motors.
His responsibilities will involve him in all activities relating to AEG's Atex compliant AC induction motors and Vulcano fume and heat extraction units, from design through to international sales and marketing.
Sadouk's appointment to the newly created post, together with its associated responsibilities, illustrates AEG's intention to focus on the heavy motor market.
An electrical engineer with experience in motor design, he has joined AEG from Brook Crompton.
He initially joined Brook in 1985 from Newman Electric Motors as a design engineer specialising in large motors (30kW to 500kW).
He subsequently held the posts of applications manager, sales manager BC France, managing director BC France and immediately prior to joining AEG, sales director for the Middle East and Africa.
