Guide covers automation range

An overview of Aerotech's range of motion controllers includes the A3200 Digital Automation Platform, a software-only, PC- based, Firewire-interfaced system.

Aerotech has released an updated and redesigned automation solutions brochure for laser processing, medical device manufacturing and the life sciences The 36-page information resource is the latest in a series of automation solutions publications from Aerotech

The new brochure is also available in German.

Available in hard copy or as a PDF download from the company's website, the full colour brochure covers positioning systems solutions for laser cutting, drilling, welding, marking and ablation, with highlighted sections on hermetic seam welding, medical stent manufacture and other cylindrical materials processing applications.

Other topics covered include specific medical device automation and positioning systems for catheters, cannulae, hypotubes, endoscopse, IOC and contact lenses as well as sections on DNA, drug discovery and proteomics applications.

An overview of Aerotech's range of advanced motion controllers includes the A3200 Digital Automation Platform, a software-only, PC- based, Firewire-interfaced system capable of controlling up to 32 axes and machine I/O with fully deterministic synchronisation.

The Soloist single-axis integrated drive and motion controller and the Ensemble multiaxis motion control system are both also covered.
