A new company, Advanced Processors (Kells), has been formed to offer process solutions for organisations manufacturing food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals as well as the chemical processing and other related industries.

The new company will combine the joint expertise of Advanced Engineering (Middleton) which manufactures a wide range of mixers, with the stainless steel fabrication skills of Kells Stainless.

The first joint venture of the new company involved the design and manufacture of the Ad-Pro advanced processor.

This high performance product combines both hot and cold mixing and blending with the facility for incorporating wet or dry additives under vacuum.

Units can be configured to suit specific requirements, with mixing bowl capacities up to 2000 litres.

It can be used as a stand-alone batch mixing unit, or incorporated into a full processing line where it provides the multifunction capacities of blending, dispensing and homogenising for the production of highly stable emulsions and suspensions.

A portable trials rig is also available.
