Aetna UK and Weitek have launched a double-head linear weighing machine which is modular in construction and can offer weighing speeds up to 100 weighments per minute.
Aetna UK and Weitek have launched a double-head linear weighing machine which is modular in construction and can offer weighing speeds up to 100 weighments per minute.
Each module uses a double hopper, the upper hopper to weigh 90% of the weighment, and the lower hopper to accurately top up the weighment.
Each module is more than double the speed of a single hopper linear weigher and can operate at speeds in excess of 30 weighments per minute.
Up to three modules can be integrated into a single weighing system.
