Acheson has introduced its state-of-the-art Dag 2020L linear reciprocator to the North American forging industry.

Acheson has introduced its state-of-the-art Dag 2020L linear reciprocator to the North American forging industry.

The new unit, which debuted at Forge Fair earlier this year, provides forgers with a durable, effective and reliable method of quickly and accurately managing the lubrication process.

The system provides continuous lubricant circulation, which prevents sedimentation.

Additionally, it has corrosion-resistant components and the ability to apply water or lubricant through Acheson's patented spray tip technology.

The guiding system is industry-proven, and the spray head configuration can be customised by Acheson or by the customer on site.

The Dag 2020L also features a quick-release docking station, enabling the system to be easily released and rolled to a more convenient area if maintenance is required on the forging press.

For operations requiring additional application to properly lubricate more complex dies, Acheson also offers its Dag 2020R robotic spray system.

This combines the features of the Dag 2020L with a robot to provide more flexibility and enhanced productivity.
