Acheson has developed its Dag EB-020A coating to provide controlled electrical properties for alkaline battery applications

The electrical conductivity and corrosion protection properties of the coating make it ideal for battery can protection A one component thermosetting graphite coating of high conductivity, Dag EB-020A is water based and particularly useful in solvent prohibited areas

Easy spray application of Dag EB-020A enables maximised production speeds and economical usage, resulting in lower component costs.

In addition, the coating extends battery shelf life and performance.

Dag EB-020A provides excellent adhesion to smooth surfaced nickel plated steel, maintaining a conductive surface on current collectors.

It also provides excellent chemical resistance to KOH electrolyte, reducing corrosion and oxidation.

The product's very low electrical resistance improves the electrical contact between the cathode can and electrolyte.
