Maker of energy-efficient electronic controls for electric and battery powered motors wins innovation award in Ontario.
Agile Systems has been recognised as one of Ontario's top innovative companies, and an outstanding contributor to Ontario's economic growth.
The Waterloo, Ontario-based company is a recipient of a 2006 Ontario Global Traders Award honouring top achievement in the innovation category.
Agile specialises in the design and manufacture of energy-efficient electronic controls for electric and battery powered motors.
The firm exports its specialised controls to OEM manufacturing companies around the world, in such industries as semiconductors, life science and HVAC.

The Ontario Global Traders Awards are the province's premier export recognition programme.
First introduced in 1998, the awards recognise the outstanding export achievements of the most innovative and successful small and medium-sized enterprises, leaders and students in Ontario.
The awards are co-ordinated by Ontario Exports, the Government of Ontario's export development agency with support from its partners in trade.
