Power protection specialists Advance-Galatrek will be using Railtex 2000 to promote their total power solutions programme.
Power protection specialists Advance-Galatrek will be using Railtex 2000 to promote their total power solutions programme.
Extensive ranges of power conditioning and UPS equipment will be on show and the company will introduce new products to expand protection for rail and light transit system operators.
The portfolio includes: power conditioning, UPS protection, power generation, transient voltage surge protection and DC supplies.
No other UPS manufacturer in the UK has this capability.
For the first time at Railtex 2000 the company will exhibit a new range of generators.
Typical applications will include support of electronic signalling in rural areas where mains supply may be less reliable.
The generators provide a cost effective alternative to large battery packs to bridge outages of several hours or more.
There is also new UPS for large scale power users.
The Power Centre UPS will meet enterprise protection needs with capacities from 160 to 600kVA, and scalability up to 4,800kVA.
Lightning is an ever present danger to signalling, communications and computing applications.
It may strike through the power or communications channel.
To answer the need for complete protection Advance-Galatrek will show transient voltage suppression devices (TVSS) that give protection against such extreme events.
Of special relevance to communications managers are new, UPS compatible, DC power devices.
Advance-Galatrek offer a comprehensive power solution from a single reliable source and are able to engineer systems to meet even the most complex needs.
