Power quality management specialist Advance-Galatrek has just published a new brochure detailing its full range of StrikeSafe Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors (TVSS).

This startling figure is compounded by factors such as changes in the environment, the growing deployment of microprocessor technology, increased network interconnectivity and the need to locate hardware in exposed locations.

With this in mind, the new StrikeSafe TVSS brochure contains text and diagrams that detail zone protection according to BS EN6651:1992 Appendix C.
This divides a facility into site and building entrances, specific floors and offices and individual applications.
Each zone is subject to different transient voltage threats, and therefore requires a bespoke approach to voltage surge suppression.
The StrikeSafe brochure details Advance-Galatrek's unique patent pending matrix technology, where components are arranged in individually fused groups, to offer superior levels of redundancy and reliability.
