Adept Technology will be demonstrating high-speed flexible packaging solutions at the Japan International Packaging Machinery Show 2009 in Tokyo, Japan, on 20-23 October 2009.
The company, which will be found in Booth 3D41, will be showcasing its Adept Quattro s650H robot with vision.
Adept's demonstrations will feature flexible solutions that are claimed to enable producers to increase throughput while lowering the total cost of ownership as quantified by the cost per pick.
'The Adept Quattro s650H brings high-speed production and the inherent flexibility of robotic automation to food producers and others who require exacting levels of performance in their processes,' said Rush LaSelle, director of global sales and marketing.
The Adept Quattro s650H is a parallel robot specifically designed for high-speed manufacturing, packaging, material handling and assembly applications.
It features a four-arm rotational platform.
The design delivers speed, acceleration and high performance across the entire work envelope, according to the company.
The Adept Quattro s650H exceeds 300 cycles per minute, allowing companies to maximise the throughput of their production lines.
Compact controls and embedded amplifiers facilitate installation while reducing work cell and overall factory footprint requirements.
The speed and precision of the Quattro robot, combined with recently becoming USDA accepted, make it suitable for a variety of applications, such as raw food handling, flexible packaging, material handling, kitting and assembly applications.
