Adept Technology will demonstrate its Ace Packxpert advanced packaging management software at the Japan International Packaging Machinery Show 2009 in Tokyo on 20-23 October.

Ace Packxpert is designed specifically for packaging applications and enables packagers to maximise production and quickly adapt to changing market demands while reducing deployment time and integration costs, according to the company.

'Adept Ace Packexpert software, built on Adept's fully integrated automation control environment, gives a full spectrum of packaging employees with varying controls and software backgrounds an intuitive tool to immediately respond to packaging or production changes,' said Rush LaSelle, director of global sales and marketing.

Ace Packxpert is a software solution built on the company's fully integrated automation control environment, Adept Ace, the latest generation of Adept software.

The all-in-one Ace Packxpert solution is flexible, enabling manufacturers to respond quickly to part changes without lengthy reprogramming.

Ace Packxpert features a graphical interface and a 3D workspace display for visualising the system operation.

The software enables users to coordinate the efforts of an entire line of robots by working across multiple controllers.

The program was designed for novice users with no programming required in bringing an application online, while permitting users with V+ programming expertise to leverage their existing library of V+ functionality.
