A novel interconnection system allows designers to employ a standard USB cordset in a harsh environments.
The new USB Field connector is compatible with every USB cordset on the market and needs no special cabling or tooling to use.
Waterproof to liquids and dusts (IP67), highly resistant to shock and vibration, the connector offers coded inserts and extended EMI protection.
The metallic shell on the USB cordset offers a waterproof mechanical retention of the plug within the receptacle and protects the system from shock and vibration.
