Jon Thornton has returned to Ashton Seals as Special Products Co-ordinator.

Thornton originally joined the company in March 1991 and held a number of positions but he was for many years the company's Lubrication Specialist and it is to this position that he is returning.

In addition, he will take responsibility for VR, antivibrational dampers, oil seals and shaft seals and his primary function will be to service existing customers and generate new opportunities in each of these key areas.

Speaking on his new appointment Thornton commented: "I am looking forward to the opportunity and feel that I have gained a huge amount of experience after nearly 20 years in the industry".

"The company itself has nearly 140 years trading history, a purpose built distribution centre, an extensive product range and an extensive stockholding".

"The challenge of building on these foundations to further develop the company's business base is an exciting one and, with the support of a great team of professionals, I am confident that the buying experience for our customers will improve year on year".

Speaking on the appointment of Jon Thornton as Special Products Co-ordinator, Ashton Seals' Managing Director, Tim Wills, commented: "I'm delighted that we've been able to make such an excellent appointment and welcome back such a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to the company".

"Jon has a huge understanding of our business and the market place in which we operate".

"His appointment can only assist in taking us on to the next phase of our development as a company".

"Our customers are at the forefront of our philosophy and already Jon has added huge value to the Ashton Seals' buying experience and I know through speaking to customers how delighted they are that he has rejoined us".
