Vision-based co-ordinate measuring machine manufacturer ActiCM has signed a second Chinese distributor, adding to an Asian network that covers Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and India.

Vision-based co-ordinate measuring machine manufacturer ActiCM has signed a second Chinese distributor, adding to an Asian network that covers Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and India.

Having set up its sales network in Europe and Asia over the past 2 years, the company will now turn its international expansion efforts towards North and South America.

ActiCM's technology is a unique combination of photogrammetry and a powerful image processing.

This innovative combination allows a high accuracy in the in line and off line measurements and fastens the measurement process for parts, units or subunits.

ActiCM's products are dedicated to all mechanical industries and particularly to the automotive and aeronautic sectors.

ActiCM is forecasting a significant growth of sales between 2007 and 2008.

In order to support its international distribution network, the company has opened sales offices in Frankfurt, Shanghai and Sao Paulo.

ActiCM will exhibit at the following international fairs: Industrie 2007 in Lyon (France) from 6th to 9th March 2007 - Hall 6 Booth 6C160; Control 2007 in Sinsheim (Germany) from 8th to 11th May 2007 - Hall 4 Booth 4310; and CMSC 2007 in Reno, Nevada (USA) from 16th to 20th July 2007.
