Applied Motion Technology has launched its range of intelligent servo and stepper products by giving away the programming software.

Applied Motion Technology has launched its range of intelligent servo and stepper products by giving away the programming software.

The software on offer is Applied Motion's "Simple indexer technology" Windows graphical user interface.

With no programming language to learn, no software engineer to consult and no code to write, the system does all the programming.

The user just inputs the move parameters.

Alternatively these drives can be commanded in real time from a host computer using SiNet Command language (SCL).

Multiple drives can be connected to one computer port using Applied Motion's SiNet Hub-8 or built in multidrop RS485 network.

Both networks allow steppers and servos to work together.
