Mass spectrometry checks photoresist purity
Agilent Technologies has developed a simple, reliable method for measuring metal impurities at ultratrace levels in photoresist samples.
Agilent offers two versions of the micro GC.
One version comes equipped with onboard batteries and a mini carrier gas cylinder (both rechargeable) for sites where there is no external power available.
Batteries used with this version can be recharged from either an AC power source or an automobile power cable adapter.
The other version, which is more economical, has an onboard carrier gas cylinder, but no internal power source.
A carrier gas cylinder recharging kit is included with both versions.
The system's modular design can be configured for a wide span of applications, including environmental, fuel cell, natural gas, high-purity industrial gas, oil and gas exploration, transformer oil gas and petrochemical applications.
The system's modularity also allows users to replace modules quickly if needed, with minimal downtime.
An easy-to-use software interface enables non-chromatographers to easily run samples and get results.
And because of its micromachined components and capillary columns, the 3000 micro GC portable provides analyses up to 10 times faster than conventional laboratory GCs.
The system's thermal conductivity detector with extended dynamic range is 10 times more sensitive than traditional laboratory TCDs, allowing users to analyse samples with major and minor components in a single run.
Such excellent performance and portability allows for increased productivity and greater profitability in both the field and laboratory.
Digital pneumatics control minimises variations in operator skill level and improves consistency.
Local area network (LAN) connectivity provides remote system access and control.
Customers have a choice of custom-configured models, shipped ready for installation and use.
Agilent applications experts offer technical support on system configuration, installation and ongoing applications.
