All Airstation packages incorporate the CompAir rotary screw air compressor with a direct expansion refrigeration dryer, integral 'bypass' and condensate separator.

As part of the Darlington College GBP35 million investment in a state-of-the art education complex in the town, Airchannel was commissioned to provide a custom-made compressed air station capable of supplying clean air to the College's automated vehicle paint spray booth The college will represent the largest single investment in post-16 education the town has ever seen

It has a range of courses in the field of engineering and motor vehicles, with specialist resources including machining and steel fabrication workshops, an automated vehicle paint spray booth, a vehicle maintenance workshop and electrical installation skills areas.

Under a full turnkey package Airchannel has supplied two new CompAir Airstations.

These are housed within a specially adapted weatherproof shelter outside the college.

The company has also fitted the ducting and electrical work, lighting and internal heating.

Both compressors are controlled from inside the College so there is no need to enter the compressor house.

Downstream there is a breathing air purifier installed to comply with new EN regulations when the students are breathing air to spray the vehicles in lessons.

The L07 - L22 Airstation range allow quick and easy installation of a self contained compressed air package.

All Airstation packages incorporate the CompAir rotary screw air compressor with a direct expansion refrigeration dryer, integral 'bypass' and condensate separator.
