ATS International has been awarded a Certificate of Compliance from the PLCopen Board of Management making ATS one of a select group of officially certified training companies.

Following this new certification ATS has set up a new training course entitled "IEC 61131-3 application development - PLCopen".

The ATS IEC61131 training complies with the standard PLCopen certified IEC61131-3 training course.

The new ATS trainings have been developed using a "how-to-do" method with a general rather than a product focus.

Attendants will be trained on how to use Scada or how to program a PLC using the IEC61131 standard.

The IEC61131 standard defines a new standard for programming PLC and control systems.

PLCopen is an independent organisation for maintaining/promoting the IEC61131 standard and for certification of products, companies, etc.

During this course an overview is given of the functional capabilities and how PLCs can be structured, programmed, documented, maintained and installed using the IEC61131 standard.

The ATS multilingual website (in Dutch, German and English) gives more information on course requirements, course contents, locations, dates and prices.
