Nature Environmental Solutions (NES) has recently delivered a 100,000-litre continuous biological treatment unit to a large Danish manufacturer.

The 100,000-litre plant, which was engineered in stainless steel by specialist fabricator, Axium Process, is modular in construction and designed to treat 4500 litre/h of effluent.

The system comprises three custom-designed tanks, a specialist aeration system, semi-automatic controls and comprehensive instrumentation with a facility to link to an existing site Scada system.

The feed system incorporates a duplex Pure-Screen filter system.

The NES process allows continuous in-stream treatment of effluent waste before discharge to the environment.

The process generates no side products such as sludges and efficiently reduces all pollutants to below Danish Environmental Agency discharge parameters.

Axium Process specialises in the fabrication of custom built frameworks and skid mounted systems to a high standard of accuracy and finish.

The company also stocks a comprehensive range of hygienic stainless-steel fittings and components.
