Pure-Screen wedge wire stainless steel filters can be fabricated to customer specification and include duplex, multiplex and jacketed filter options.

Axium Process' Pure-Screen wedge wire stainless steel filter range can be fabricated to customer specification and includes duplex, multiplex and jacketed filter options.

The filters, which are of a particularly robust design and manufactured in 316L stainless steel, are suitable for temperature sensitive applications such as chocolate production, for critical applications where filter failure or collapse is not an option and for applications where product smoothness and consistency are essential.

The filters are easy to maintain, have no moving parts and require no tools for access or cleaning.

Interruption to production can be considerably reduced with the introduction of a Pure-Screen duplex filter which is also available as a stand alone design complete with support framework.

Available in a 4in body design as standard, the Pure-Screen filter range employs no O-rings, and has a metal to metal seal design which ensures that the filter element can be removed easily and without sticking.

Elements are interchangeable and are available as standard from 25 up to 3000um.

Standard filter options include a 90-degree, inline or straight through design as well as the Pure-Screen Compact filter which is designed for use in confined areas or where flow rates are low.

Sample valves, drain or vent valves can be integrated into any of the options as can isolation or back flush valves if required.

As well as the supply of hygienic stainless steel filters, tube and pipe fittings, the company's in house capabilities range from the rapid production of high quality adapters and manifolds, to the supply of fully integrated, customised manual or automatic hygienic process plant.
