The new TS range of opto-photo-interrupters from Active can be supplied in five body styles designed for printed circuit board mounting The wide range of standard moulded housings enables the sensors to be configured to meet most applications

The sensors have an inbuilt opto-sensing circuit, which is designed to sense when the circuit is interrupted by the presence of any material positioned in the housing's slot between the sensor's emitter and collector.

An LED gives clear indication of switching mode.

The sensors can be operated from a low voltage supply exceeding 1.0V and are designed to use minimal current.
