Active Switch and Sensor has a new range of four-ball-contact tilt switches for general applications.

The AT407 and AT411-2 have two flexible leads which enable easy fitting into printed circuit boards with pin spacing of between 2 and 4mm and the possibility of setting the switch to the required operate angle.

The switches are designed to interface with integrated circuits, and the gold contacts will handle 100,000 operations.

The AT407 has a 7mm long by 4mm diameter case and the AT411-2 a longer 11mm case.

The RBS range offers two pin configurations, straight pin or right-angle pin.

Both types are strongly built with a zinc alloy body and moulded base.

The switches have a strong resistance to humidity with a sealed body and gold plated contacts.

The differential angle on both ranges is 10-15 degrees from horizontal.

Further ranges are available to operate from vertical positions.
