The latest micro reed proximity switch from Active Switch and Sensor has been designed to be as unobtrusive as possible.

The latest micro reed proximity switch from Active Switch and Sensor has been designed to be as unobtrusive as possible.

With a miniature, flat, rectangular plastic body only 8mm wide and 17mm long, this is one of the smallest switches in the world and will fit onto a flat surface with either the two locating holes or the supplied high strength adhesive strip.

Combining the switch with the MICMAG magnet (in a housing similar to the switch) will give an operating distance of 10mm.

The hermetically sealed reed switch contact has a rating of 24V AC/DC, 0.1A, 1VA and twin-core cable for easy termination.
