This Minidisc-SW disc-shaped reed proximity switch has a cylindrical, low-profile body which is designed to fit into a 15mm recess.

The body is 6mm deep and has an 18mm lip for easy location.

Applications are usually for security and anti-tamper detection although the high grade 50Vac/Vdc, 10W switch will interface with low-voltage control and monitoring systems.

The plastic housing has side lugs for strong location.

Both the switch and magnet are supplied in identical housings.

The reed switch can be operated over an unusually wide 18mm gap using the moulded magnet type Mini Discmag.

The switch is supplied with 450mm twin core insulated cable and the complete assembly is approved to UL specifications.
