The APA300 is a miniature piezoceramic sensor that can detect acceleration and movement in three axes and can also be used to detect vibration.

Its compact construction (10 x 7 x 4mm) makes it ideal for small electronic assemblies and its pin layout enables easy insertion into PCB assemblies.

The sensor will detect dynamic acceleration and has already been designed into action games, earthquake sensing and white good products such as washing machines.
