The new ACA302 capacitive sensor can detect both acceleration and shock.

The new ACA302 capacitive sensor can detect both acceleration and shock.

The sensor has an inbuilt chip which can detect movement in three axes and both dynamic and static acceleration.

Compact construction and light weight make this sensor ideal for fitting into portable units, and the sensor's amplifier enables further reduction in circuitry.

The sensor measures 16 x 16 x 7.3mm and has PCB pins for easy insertion.

Power consumption is also very low at 1.4mA.

The sensor is suitable for use in tilt sensing, car alarm systems, navigation systems and stability control.
