The RM525 reed proximity switch has a strong brass/nickel plated housing, but is only 24mm long.

The RM525 is one of a new range of threaded metal and plastic reed proximity switches from Active Switch and Sensor.

It has a strong brass/nickel plated housing, but is only 24mm long.

The switch has an M5 threaded body and locking nuts which enables the switch to be finely adjusted to a suitable operating distance.

The contact form is normally open and rated at 100V AC, 0.25A, 3VA with 300mm cable for easy termination.

A button magnet can be supplied with the switch.

This switch is useful for a wide range of position sensing applications and its small size and fully threaded body makes it useful for fine setting in control and process applications.
