Monitored pneumatic safety valves and an award-winning guarding and control system will be the highlights of Australian Safety Guarding's stand at The Safety Show, Sydney, Australia, from 26-28 October 2005.
Australian Safety Guarding also offers risk assessment and safety consulting services for industrial machinery.
It is equipped to follow through with the design, manufacture and installation of safety guarding and control systems that comply with Australian Standards, including Category 4 of AS 4024.
Australian Safety Guarding won the WorkSafe Victoria Small Business Award in 2002 for a new safe guarding system for C-frame power presses, which are used in many manufacturing plants.
Smaller versions are also used by engineering shops, schools and TAFE colleges.
WorkSafe described the Australian Safety Guarding system as 'a revolutionary design and makes a high level of safeguarding for this ubiquitous equipment practicable and achievable.
'Victorians' fingers and hands will be saved as a result of this small business's innovation and leadership'.
Australian Safety Guarding is also one of few safety companies to supply monitored pneumatic valves.
The specialised valves allow full control of fluid power, including isolation, to suit Category 4 applications in accordance with AS 4024-1 and EN 954-1.
