AJM Automation has a new range of cost effective Industrial Flat Panel monitors which come with a 2 year warranty as standard on the monitor, and if fitted, a 5 year warranty on the touch screen
AJM Automation Ltd, the UK distributor for CTC Parker touch screen HMIs have just taken on board a new range of cost effective Industrial Flat Panel monitors.
These units, the Flatman range, are manufactured in Germany and come with a 2 year warranty as standard on the monitor, and if fitted, a 5 year warranty on the touch screen.
Two type of unit are available, the Flatman and the Flatman Portal.
Each is available as either an OEM chassis or an IP-65 panel mount.
Sizes available are 12.1",15.1"17.1 and 18.1".
The Portal is also available in kit form, with components that have been cabled and pre-tested.
The Portal comes as standard with automatic brightness control, to maximise the length of the back lights, (30,000hrs half life as standard) and remote infra-red control.
Options include high brightness (1600cd/m2), temperature sensors, distance control sensor, digital I/O, SVHS / FBAS signal for connection to video equipment and CCTV etc.
An option for the Flatman is the SVHS signal input.
Both the Flatman and the Portal are available with either resistive, capacitive of anti-vandal proof touch screen.
One other unit that is available is the 1U high, 19" rack mount pull out keyboard and monitor.
