Automationtechies.com, a leading online destination for industrial automation, process control and instrumentation professionals, has acquired the www.automation.com domain name This acquisition allows the company to separate the online media/information destination website from the direct-hire and contract recruiting services also offered by Automationtechies

According to Rick Zabel, Vice President: "The acquisition of this particular domain reinforces our dedication to providing timely and relevant information to automation professionals".

Automation.com will provide the same great content that automation professionals have come to expect from the industry-leading online destination.

The transition has already begun.

All www.automationtechies.com web pages are currently being redirected to www.automation.com.

Over the next several weeks readers can expect to see a change in logo, a site redesign and new navigation.

Once the site transition is complete, the www.automationtechies.com domain will be relaunched to highlight and describe the direct-hire and contract recruiting services currently offered by Automationtechies.com.

"Over the past two years, all aspects of our business have continued to grow, even in a sluggish economy", says Alan Carty, Founder, President, and CEO.

"This new site domain (destination) and separation from our recruiting services will allow us to better focus on each individual business unit".

The Automation.com website will be managed by Rick Zabel, Vice President, while the recruiting services group of Automationtechies will be managed by Alan Carty, President and CEO.

Automation.com and Automationtechies.com (aka Automationtechies) are owned and operated by Automation Resources.
