Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 8, 2007

Alpine Components is running a series of motor reliability and testing seminars at venues across the UK.

Alpine Components is running a series of motor reliability and testing seminars between 5th and 8th March 2007 at venues across the UK.

The main presenter during the day will be Richard Scott, VP Engineering and Support at All Test Pro.

He is an expert on both off- and online motor testing and will cover the basics of motor circuit analysis and electrical signature analysis.

As the title of the seminar indicates, Alpine advocates using other technologies to help troubleshoot problems on motors.

Both UE Systems and Flir Systems will be giving presentations illustrating areas where ultrasound detection and infra-red scanning would be appropriate when testing motors.

Seminars will be held on: 5th March at the Paramount Hotel, Basingstoke; 6th March at the Paramount Hotel, Hinckley Island; 7th March at the Holiday Inn, Runcorn; and 8th March at the Holiday Inn, Doncaster.

Each event is priced at GBP 69.50 per person, including lunch.
