"By providing a seamless design solution with the Alibre Design Basic solid modeller and our analysis software, we are offering affordable, easy-to-use tools to help engineers speed up time to market and make better, safer products at a lower cost".

Algor's Professional core packages also now include: direct CAD/CAE data exchange with other leading CAD solid modellers; built-in CAD support for Step, Acis, Iges and STL files; the capability to check for interference and proper constraint definition by dynamically dragging parts of an assembly; online data sharing and real-time collaboration for working with others to create, edit or review models or obtain on-demand technical support; integrated data management for organising and securely storing data on a hard drive, network drive or secure server with access rights management and version tracking options; and the Algor and Alibre Assistants for expert, on-demand support through a real-time chat or design session.

These modelling capabilities are available for Algor's wide range of simulation capabilities including static stress and mechanical event simulation (MES) with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics, steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, electrostatics, full multiphysics and piping.
