Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 7, 2009

Bolton-based training provider, Alliance Learning, are urging employers who feel they don't have the financial capacity to take on an experienced staff member, to consider an apprentice.

An Apprenticeship is a work-based learning programme, through which you can train both your existing staff and any new employees that you are thinking of recruiting.

All apprentices follow a specialised 'Apprenticeship Framework' and learn while they work, giving them practical, up-to-date knowledge needed for specific industry sectors.

Alliance Learning offer a range of courses, designed by employers for employers.

Apprenticeship training is available throughout Greater Manchester with a particular focus in the locality of their three training centres across Bolton, Radcliffe and Leigh.

Apprenticeships are offered in: Business Administration; ITQ; Customer Service; Children's Care Learning and Development; Health and Social Care; Electrical Engineering; Fabrication and Welding; Mechanical Engineering; Warehouse and Storage and Retail.
