The range of continuous gas analysers and systems manufactured and marketed by ABB has recently been certified to the latest mCERTs standards The UK's Environment Agency now requires operators of regulated processes to deliver monitoring results that are valid, reliable, accurate and appropriate

Good quality monitoring data depends on using approved methods and equipment that meet the latest certification standards.

To this end, the agency has established its Monitoring Certification Scheme (mCERTs) to improve the quality of monitoring data.

mCERTs covers all areas of regulatory monitoring, including water quality monitoring, manual stack emissions monitoring, data recording, and operators' monitoring arrangements.

Based in Telford, Shropshire, ABB produces a comprehensive range of products and systems that meet the new standards for use in the power generation and cement industries, gas turbine applications (low NOx) and for other areas where strict and accurate control of emissions is essential - these include incineration plant, landfill sites and crematoria.

Solutions from ABB certified to mCERTs certification standards are now available for FTIR, UV, NDIR, FID and ZrO2 measurements.
